No Monkies Allowed!

Wow.
So basically, I want to finish my mission here. This area has easily become my favorite area in just a few short days. The ward is AWESOME, tons of families that consist of RM's (now married and with families). The area is great, tons of people to talk to, hills to keep me in better shape, and tons of other missionaries to play some volleyball or basketball with on Mondays. It's great! Also, I'm sure you might already know, but Elder Grondel is my Zone Leader! Crazy, huh?

Plus, Elder Price, who came out with me, is in my district too, so I'm surrounded by people I know really well too. Plus, the apartment has workout equipment, a DISHWASHER, and a garbage disposal. It's perfect. :) The only drawback to this area is that I feel like I'm starting from scratch. Almost. The missionary that I replaced here just went home, and in my opinion, failed to endure to the end. (He was a trunky monkey.) SO, he really didn't do much work, and now I'm here having to pick up the area from nothing because he got lazy, and signed out of his mission a month and a half early. I can't stand missionaries like that; I just have no tolerance, because it's so selfish!!!

But, that's beside the point, because this area is going to do great. I just know that there are people prepared here for Elder Howard and I to find, and I'm really looking forward to finding them. We already have 3 appointments set up this week with Lakita, Keesha, and Jason, all of which were very interested, and I deem them solid potential investigators. All I can really say is that I'm super exited to be here!

The Red Bull Flugtag was here in St. Paul on Saturday, where people build these apparatus that are designed to glide, and run them off this little 30 ft tall runway, in hopes of gliding the farthest. Most of them just crash and make a good show. I watched a few of them, and it was pretty funny actually. It's all for charity.

Today, we'll probably be playing volleyball with a lot of missionaries, so I'm pretty stoked.

I'm happy, and very rejuvenated at this point. Danny wrote me a quote that I thoroughly enjoyed. "Life is not about praying for the storm to cease, it's about learning to dance in the rain."

Everything is going really well here, it is much more hot and humid than Thunder Bay, that's for sure. Not much else to say! Glad everything is going great!

Love you all!
