Joseph Smith declared, “Remember that your business is to preach the gospel, in all humility and meekness, and warn sinners to repent and come to Christ . . . If they receive not your testimony in one place, flee to another, remembering to cast no reflections, nor throw out any bitter sayings. If you do your duty, it will be just as well with you, as though all men embraced the gospel” (Joseph Smith, Teachings of the Prophet Joseph Smith, comp. Joseph Fielding Smith [Salt Lake City: Deseret Book Co., 1938], 43).
Hey!! Well, I'm doing MUCH better since we last talked. Things aren't any faster, but my attitude has definitely changed. Since transfer calls were coming today, I entertained the thought that I could very easily be staying in Thunder Bay for 6 more weeks. At first, I hated that thought. But, I found myself saying that I would do the Lord's will to other people who asked me what I thought was going to happen. Every time I said that, it was easier and easier to accept the fact that I might be here for a while longer. Last night I prayed about it, didn't really receive an answer, but in the morning, I was fine, peaceful about whatever happened. And then, President called and is transferring me down to ST. PAUL!!!!!!! WHOOO HOOO!!!!! My tour of the North is finally over! I'm going right to downtown St. Paul! I'm so excited! Haha yeah, so that's what's happening! :)
The conference in the cities was AMAZING! I wish I could explain in detail all of the things that we went over, but it's over 30+ hours of training. In a broad overview, we discussed how we can help others become converted to the gospel, and how we can get them to read, pray and come to church, the 3 things they need to do to become converted. It was truly awesome. We applied tidbits of the training in a lesson with the Matthews, Diane more specifically, and it was a great lesson! We almost got her to say the closing prayer, but she's not quite ready yet. But nonetheless, the lesson was great!
So when we were in the cities, I saw my whole MTC district, and that was way fun! Elder Zweifel and I stayed in Plymouth, and that was a way wealthy area.... Elder Olson and I tracted into the Timberwolves coach’s house... crazy.
Elder Barnes' new companion is actually Elder Orton, who was on the north side of Thunder Bay but is now going to the south side. Elder Zweifel is getting Elder Barrens. I am going to Elder Howard. No one knows who he is haha. Plus, I'm going to be a district leader again.
Brad... Well, I really don't know how he is, because we can't get a hold of him. His life and schedule is very hectic and scatterbrained, and I blame it on his battle with alcohol. I just wish him the best. He might be a job for the future Elders...
Other than that, Elder Barnes and I helped Christina weed her garden, and that was more work than I thought. (We don't have a lot of weeding to do in AZ!) Hahaha! I seriously had nightmares about weeding her garden last night!!! Quite literally, nightmares. Me pulling up weeds, and giant spiders trying to eat me, I kept waking up because I swore I felt spiders crawling on me... ugh, terrible night of sleep. She's really sad that I'm going to leave, but it looks like she's going to come to church next week. Elder Barnes will be able to help her a lot.
Well, here are some pictures!

Hey, loved the quote from Joseph Smith, it's awesome!
I did get your package! I loved all the food stuffs, but you may forget that I'm not a huge jerky fan... I don't know what it is about it, but when I think about eating beef jerky, I get sick to my stomach... but, when I eat it, I don't get sick... I'm wierd.
Love you!
