A Lot of Good Things Happening

Hmmm... no e-mail from mis padres, eh? ;)  (Well, I was almost finished typing his email when he sent his.  Then he was logged out within three minutes and so he didn't get his email this week!  I felt so bad!!)

Things are going well. I'm enjoying my time with Elder Sorenson thus far, he's a very hard worker. We’ve found 3 new investigators this week, which is amazing! I see a lot of good things happening here. I always have.

Still haven't seen Christina... saw her right before Elder Fonua left, but that was just briefly. We did stop by last night, and her son said that she was upstairs in bed with a fever... I'm starting to worry about her. I mean, I know I shouldn't, and I'm not really, but I am haha. If that makes sense.

So us Thunder Bay Elders are trying to be creative in the way we find people. So on Saturday, there was this huge folklore festival inside this building, and so we went outside the place, and Elder Zweifel and I drew a picture of Christ coming to America, and some other things on different parts of the sidewalk. Of course we did it with chalk. It wasn't the best drawing, because it was chalk, and cause the ground there wasn't very smooth, but it was still pretty dang good, if I do say so myself. It was incredible to see how many people didn't even take time to notice. People just walked right over it, some noticing, and not caring, and others not even noticing!!!! I was shocked!!! So anyhow, that didn't work as well as we had hoped, but we did get this new investigator Brad, who when he was young, was a pro body builder, and he was huge. We’re talking like ARNOLD "Get down" huge. Totally ripped. But he is a cool guy, and told us that something is missing in his life, and that he knows it wasn't coincidence that we met him. So we're excited to continue teaching him.

About Mother's day calls.... we're still trying to find a family that we can call from their house.... you should expect a call around 2 O'clock, my time. It's tricky because we have church until 1, and then we have to leave for Duluth at like 5 or so... Ugh, I hate being rushed like this. But nonetheless, you'll receive a call, PROBABLY around 2. Sorry it isn't very concrete.

Other than that, it's really just been me going to drop off Elder Fonua and picking up Elder Sorenson. I did work on a goat farm for an hour or two. That was interesting haha. They stink by the way. Umm... Not very much has happened!! haha sorry!
