Sunrise Hike

So....Things are going very well! Not necessarily a ton going on, but I can't complain about the weather, and I haven't had to take my AllegraD for a number of months now, probably since the beginning of fall!

Christina is still doing well. I personally haven't seen her for about two weeks except for briefly at church. She bought Elder Fonua and I some VERY nice ties, which we appreciated very much!

Don't know what happened with Herve this week, he said he was going to be late to our appointment on Friday and that he'd give us a call when he was on his way, and the call never came, which is pretty unlike him.... So, we'll be giving him a call today. We stopped by John’s yesterday, and he is doing well too! Tory wasn't there, but John hadn't read from the Book of Mormon yet, so instead, we watched some Mormon messages online with him. We watched Elder Holland’s talk on the Book of Mormon, and afterwards John was like, "Cool.... can we watch another one?" haha He's a cool guy, we just gotta get him doing the right things!

Other than that, we are in a major finding phase. This is the last week of transfers, and everyone up here is convinced that I'm going to be training next transfer. Hah, we'll see about that. It's very possible I think. President likes to train missionaries in Thunder Bay.

This morning we hiked up top to the only mountain in Thunder Bay, Mount McKay, and it was pretty sweet. We hiked up early in the morning and waited for the sunrise, it was very pretty, the 1st time I've ever witnessed a sunrise too!

Eldre Fonua and I are doing that cleanse thing for one week, and it's working out really well. My face has cleared up and Elder Fonua lost a goodly amount of weight this last week, and I myself lost 2 pounds already, only halfway in. So tomorrow is the last day for that.

Did I tell you that I went to bake those rolls, and I bought some yeast, read the directions wrong, and ended up using a cup of yeast instead of a tablespoon? Haha oh well, you live and learn I guess! I'll just have to make the other batch "unleavened." So we'll see how those turn out haha. (He wanted me to send a recipe for homemade bread ~ right . . . I sent two boxes of Lion House Roll mixes. Can you imagine him making bread?!?)

Not much else than that is going on, we're just pluggin along, trying to improve ourselves and find new people. I'm glad to hear that everyone back home is doing well. Send grandma my best!

Oh, and I don't know if I'll be able to skype. I know president has allowed it in the past; we'll have to find out if that will be possible, and I'd have to find a member who has and will let me use their computer. Haven't heard from Danny or David for a while, tell me how they are doing! And if you would be so kind, I'm not sure if Nate is still at his same address up in Flagstaff... Do you think you could look into that please?
