Poquito Advice

Last pieces of advice to "poquito" Elder Brooks ( poquito meaning little, for those of you that aren't bilingual like myself.)
  • As for a scripture marker, I'd just recommend colored pencils. The cool pen I have is cool, but you could save 15 bucks on pencils. Also, the MTC has PMG's, and other basic supplies like sticky notes, oil, pens and pencils, and you get a big discount on them too, so again, to save some money...
  • As far as marking your scriptures, find out what works for you, and ask other missionaries what they do as to get a better idea how to do it best. I will try to remember to take a picture of how I do it and what works for me.
  • Stay away from antiperspirant (sp?) because it will stain your pits yellow. Eeww.
  • Make sure your pen is retracted/closed before replacing it in your shirt pocket. ;)
  •  Read the Book of Mormon every day.
  • Take lots of pictures, you'll never know when you'll be in that part of the world again.
  • Call mom at the airport. ;)  (Good one, Logan!)
  • And that's all I can really think of at this point. I'm just excited for you cam.
 Love ya bud.
