Canada, Eh?

Oh boy oh boy.

So Thunder Bay is an interesting place. I think it's pretty sweet. So, no talking politics eh? Just cause people are proud to be Canadian? That's cool, I've got no beef with that.

So yeah, Elder Fonua and I have a few investigators and less actives that we are working with. At the moment, we have two date sets for February 23rd, and one for another time in February that I can't remember, and then for April 10th. So we are keeping busy enough. Turns out that we are in a bike area. In our apartment, there are four Elders, Elder Fonua and myself, Elder Marsh, and his trainee Elder Christiansen from Pocatello, Idaho. We are getting to be a pretty tight group already. Elder Fonua is the district leader... What else about this area....

Um, we have a washer and a dryer, we have a small ward, and that address sounds correct to me. I think it will take close to 15 days to send a package to me if you do it through the mission office. (It takes 10 days for a letter).

Well, that is way sweet to hear about Cameron, I'm so excited for him! I wish I could be in his mission or something; I would have so much fun watching him get trained, or showing him all the tricks of the trade and what not.

Well, it's so crazy; I can DEFINITELY tell that I'm in a different country. It is not a stereotype that Canadians say "eh" a lot... It's 100% percent true hahaha. Plus that say "Kraft dinner" instead of mac and cheese, and tooks instead of hats. It's all real; I couldn't believe it even when I heard it!

So yeah, Elder Fonua and I are way exited to be able to work together, we have so much fun. Last night we were walking to an appointment, and on the way one of us would beat-box, and the other would "rap" about a principle of the gospel. Good times...

So, I guess there is this song called “Hometown" by someone up here in Thunder Bay, this rapper guy, and it's a music video all about Thunder Bay, it's supposed to be pretty good, all the members were talking about it. SO, you should check it out!

There are some crazies up here though... There is this lady that calls us every day and when we ask her how it's going, she says "terrible" and we say, "why so?" and she says, " I got no heart and no stomach" and it goes on and on. Every day. It's crazy! But I think I'm really going to like this place, I think Elder Fonua and I are going to have to whip the ward into shape,. There seems to be a lot of drama, which is totally stupid. (Excuse me for saying it, but seriously?) But it’s going to be great here. I'll have to send that memory card home soon.

Love you all
ELDER LOGAN BROOKS
