Hey!!! Oh man, that's so good to hear about all my friends!! It sounds like they are all doing well, and Jay is somehow escaping death at every turn haha. I really miss those guys, and feel like I took them slightly for granted. Really miss Jay at the moment, he was a great guy. Is a great guy. Good example to me. Anyhow, I actually had goat meat myself last week!!! Haha it was pretty dang good actually! Tasted a lot like steak! Yum!
So everything is going FANTASTIC. And I mean FANTASTIC. Like, for example, we got two investigators to church, and we found a family to teach that is so very prepared!!!! I talked to the mom on the street, and she said she is looking for a church that is very family oriented, and so when I heard that, she could probably tell I got excited, cause I told her all about how families can be together forever and that it doesn't have to be till death do you part! We've taught her AND her husband and they actually both like the idea!!! Oh man, Elder Peterson and I feel so blessed to have found them. :) Their names are Sheryl and Charles, and they have an 8 year old girl with Autism, a four year old girl and a 2 year old girl. They are the answer to my many desperate prayers. We have also picked up a few more, just as important investigators! Andy and Brandy are making slow progress, and the Woodward’s are just beginning to frustrate me.
Also in good news, we decided to stop by some less actives on the list, and there was one right across the street from the church, and I said, hey, let's go check it out. So it turns out that they were there, but it was a 16 year old girl! Her name is Cathy Kongloth. She was baptized when she was eight when she lived with an aunt, but then she stopped going shortly thereafter, and thusly does not remember really anything the church teaches, so it's like a brand new investigator. She's pretty cool though, we instantly found common ground on the guitar, and we taught her a first lesson, and she wanted to read the Book of Mormon. She said she really likes reading, so I'm hoping that she'll stay true to that. We are bringing some young women over on Wednesday to help friendship her so she has someone else to hang out with besides the missionaries at church. So yeah I feel so EXTREMELY blessed this week and have learned that a busy missionary is a happy one, so I'll keep working my behind off. (I wish that phrase worked literally too, I could use a few inches off my rear haha)
-------BY THE WAY-------
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MADDIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I WISH I COULD BE THERE, BUT THIS WILL HAVE TO DO!!! WOW, you're 12 now? 11? 13? Oh! Oh yeah, you're 15!!! Boy, I'll be home in time just when you'll be able to date! Oh fun!!! :D
Cameron is obviously going to the Minnesota Minneapolis Mission!!! Well, that's my hope... my guess would actually be foreign, in Europe, or Mexico. If he stays in the U.S. then he'll take off to California. That's my best guess!
As far as transfers go, the only person to get switched out was Elder Daily. He went to Prior Lake. I'll miss him; he was a lot of fun. Really good guy. Tell his momma she done good. ;) Elder Mangham came to take the place of Elder Daily, and Elder Mangham actually was my zone leader for a transfer while I was in Virginia. He's a good guy, I like him too. So now in St. Cloud it's Elders Mangham and Birkel, and Peterson and myself.
Please tell the Munden’s and the Whetten’s hi for me. Jay and Brandt were good examples for me preparing for my mission and keeping me company in the time spent between getting home from Vegas and leaving on my mission. I'll actually send you a letter today that I would like you to forward to Jay for me please. I'll have to write Brandt soon too. Other than that, I love the little videos, I could hardly recognize Cameron Munden. I had to watch the video 3 times to figure out who it was.I love you all very much and am grateful for your support!!!
