Bump Day

We translate this graffiti into three "M's" . . . Minnesota Minneapolis Mission!

Where to begin... I'm just to the point of frustration where all I can do is laugh. To make the story short, the Glissman’s dropped us. They called us and said that they didn't want to continue investigating the church. Most likely got “anti-ed.” Talk about heart breaker... We were so mad about it. Spent so much time preparing for them, and then we didn't even get a chance to teach them again. Man, these people that read all the anti literature are so ignorant! Ah, I'm sorry, I'm just really frustrated. So yeah, the Glissman’s dropped us, our other investigator up in Ely that just married a member is looking at a bunch of anti, and it doesn't look like he'll want to join either. The ward really isn't helping us as far as finding people to teach, that subject is only discussed on Sunday, and only two members actually try and find people for us to teach. So yeah, we only taught 3 lessons this week, which is pretty dang shabby…

Don't worry though, that's not all, I got a speeding ticket too, haha. (Haha? Not so funny!) I mean, it was my fault; I wasn't looking at the speedometer.

So yeah, other than that, the only thing that is going on right now is trying to move to a city half an hour away in hopes that something will pick up. If not, then this area needs to be shut down.

Cool! Bishop Chatwin, huh? That's awesome! Well, it's about time for school to start though, eh? That’s good, maybe this new teacher will be really good with Brigham. I'll send you a picture of Paul, the Downs kid in our ward. He is so funny!

And to answer all your questions, yes, I got the greenie package, and I got the envelopes you sent me. Thank you very much! Speaking of greenie though, tomorrow will be Elder Grondel and my "Bump Day!" Whoo-Hoo! Six months!

Well it sounds like everything is going good over there though. Yeah, my week has been pretty lame... We got one potential, this girl that just moved in, we called her to set up an appointment and... she hasn't called back. Awesome. Plus yesterday I got bit by something and my hand inflated like a balloon! Man it was huge! So yeah, almost everything went wrong this week, but that's okay, I asked for patience trying trials and, by George, I got them. I definitely need the patience; I'm too used to seeing results now, now, now.

Other than that, yes, Elder Grondel and I are trying to work out more, we're riding our bikes every chance we get, and I hope I get put into a bike area soon, so I can lose the weight. Dad, you keep laughing at me gaining weight, but you will be the one buying me new shirts and slacks. ;) Yeah, it's frustrating, but we're trying to lose weight!!!
