New Companion

This first paragraph is in response to Cameron's e-mail to Logan. We sent separate e-mails and apparently Logan did not see the other one. Kind of sad because now he won't get it for another week . . .

Psha! The cold is wondiferous!! And besides, its like fifty to sixty degrees now, so I'll be bustin' out the short sleeves in another week or two! You didn't tell me how you asked Alexis! I need details, details, details! Yeah, it always feels weird getting it cut, but believe me, short hair is the way to go, or medium. Long = no bueno! Guess what though! I cut my own hair last week! Tha'ts right! Just pulled out the buzzers and off it went! :) Yeah, yeah, I do snore... when I take naps, if I'm sleeping on my back, I will wake myself up sometimes. It's pretty bad... :P

Well... On our apartment scale, I hit 195 lbs!!!!! GAH!!! Oh well, the next day I weighed myself again, and I was back down to 180...our scale is not very good. But I've come up with a plan to make sure I dont gain weight! 1. A diet! grains and fruit for breakfast, grains, fruit, or vegetables for lunch, and then whatever the members feed us that night. 2. When I eat over at members, I need to make sure that I talk more! If I'm talking, then I'm not eating! I always scarf down my food and most members are what we call "force feeders." "Oh Elder, have more!!" And I just look at my plate, and say "oh gees..." and eat more! D: Plus I'll be playing basketball every morning and on saturday for a couple of hours, so that's a pretty good workout! I'll be halfway decent when I get home.

So on Tuesday, we got our transfer calls! The verdict was: Elder Tueller is getting transferred to Buffalo, MN! I'm staying here in Duluth and my new companion will be Elder Hansen! I actually like the change because it's really going to push me to be a leader and to step up! I used to be able to depend on Elder Tueller for directions, conversations, and planning and whatnot, but now that he is gone, I'm going to have to do it because Elder Hansen won't know the area! So Elder Tueller is going to be comps with Elder Grondel, Mom, just thought you'd like to know. You call your first comp your daddy, and your second comp your mommy, so Elder Tueller is going to be Elder Grondels mom, heh heh... (Elder Grondel entered the MTC same day as Logan. I met his mom on the Missionary Mom's e-mail group. Dan & I met up with the Grondels after we dropped our boys off, but they didn't meet until the day they flew to Minnesota.)

Okay. So things up here are going REALLY well. Well, I think so anyways. All our investigators are doing good with the exception of Barri... We stopped by on Monday and decided we'd give her one last chance to step up and keep commitments before we dropped her and left it up to the ward for a while. I'll probably see her tonight so I really hope I don't have to do that. Other than that, Jordan and Kayla will be relocating to Nebraska in a couple of weeks, so I need to make sure I teach him a little so some other Elders can pick him up there. Other than that, for Easter me and Elder Tueller threw candy all over the floor so when the other Elders woke up it was everywhere! And then you guys sent all this candy!! Ugh! We have candy everywhere plus the surplus of food from members!

I'm STILL waiting for Bradleys E-mail, for Danny's, Jay's and Brandt's mailing address!!!!! (Too bad he didn't read my e-mail to him because it was all in it.)

Glad to be out here, I'm really loving the work. It's a really good experience and I just barely started!!
