No More Dork Dot

Hey Family!!

It’s me, Elder Brooks! Wednesday is my P-day, just FYI. P-day is definitely awesome; you can do laundry, or whatever. It gives you some good time to wind down a little bit. Well dad, it seems they put curtains up in the showers since you've been here, ha-ha. But some advice to Cameron, always shower at the same time as someone else or your shower will be scalding hot or icy cold... My mission president (I think he means Branch President) is President Harper. He's a great guy, but when you see him sometimes, he's almost like those dementors. He comes in the room and all the happiness is gone.... till he cracks a joke or something, ha-ha. But my district is WAY awesome, we all get along like best friends, and we've only known each other for a week!

We had a devotional with Elder M. Russell Ballard on Tues! It was pretty cool, though it was really hard to pay attention cause it was hot, cramped, and my leg started to hurt...ha-ha... oh well. My teachers are great, Brother Brame and Bro Christensen. Bro Brame is easily one of the best teachers in the MTC, I'd bet my life on that! The spirit here is great. Well today more newbies came in, so I’m not the new guy anymore!! That dot that was on my name tag, one sister called it the "Dork dot" ha-ha.

Everything’s good! Not homesick at all actually. I feel right at home here. I fit right in and I have plenty to do. Never cried dad, you said I’d be crying in my oatmeal... you probably did!!! Okay well I gots to go now, I don’t know what else to tell you guys... Love you all and wish me the best! Oh!! and if you send me food, PLEASE only send a little! No one can eat the cinnamon rolls cause we eat so much food already!
